Acid in the movies

Acid in the movie give a way out for our curiosity about what it feels like taking the drugs. Through the visual effect, we can see the distortion and illusion. That's why I always like seeing this kind of movie, to free my imagination and escape from the normal boring world.

Lots of movies talking about rock'n'roll, and of course, acid. Transpotting is the one, Requiem For A Dream is another, and Taking Woodstock.

The first one is my favorite of all time, not only because of the director Danny Boyle and the actor Ewan McGregor, but because of the positive side at the end of the movie. It gives hopes to every one who is not going upward then. Besides, the match of heroin overdose and the tune of Perfect Day in the movie is the classic. I always feel happy after seeing Transpotting. No special reason, it can arouse my positive thinking when I'm down.

If Transpotting is positive, then Requiem For A Dream is negative. It talks about addicted young people doing illegal trade for more heroin. In the end, the forearm of role is cut for saving his life. And all these are caused by drugs. I think this movie is kind of frightening and warning people don't do drugs. But I have to say that the theme tune by Paul Oakenfold is awesome.

Compared to the other two, Taking Woodstock is neither positive or negative. It just talks about music, peace, ideal and love. Again, the movie gives me a way out of the current competitive capital life. I think the peace in the movie is so good, but on the other hand, I also doubt that the so called peace is another illusion of LSD. Anyways, the movie is worth to see in the theater, if you're a music lover.

今天不是個什麼特別的日子，與往常無特別目的的週日一般，跳上的士之後，隨手掏出iPod希望隔絕車上吵雜的廣播。
開始無甚異狀，但在第一首歌即將播畢之時，螢幕突然開始閃爍了起來。
下一秒，她已經不聽任何使喚，就這樣突如其來，毫無預警地結束她三年來的服務

早到的鳥兒有貴賓室

做為台北香港航班經濟艙的常客，平常是沒有機會享用航空公司的貴賓室。
不過今天運氣不錯，因為預定的班機爆滿，
航空公司建議更換到下一航班並免費升級到商務艙，
同時附帶貴賓室badge以消磨等候時間。
在不趕時間的前提下我當然是接受航空公司的美意。

商務艙比起經濟艙還真是舒服許多
足夠的扶手跟腿伸展空間，讓做飛機不再像是被綁在椅子上一般
要不是航程短，不然舒適的差異程度會更多

失落感

隨著累積的返台次數增多，每次回來的失落感卻越來越大
轉眼間，在對岸工作也滿一年。這一年之中，每當對生活環境有何不滿之處，
心中總是以台灣作為自我安慰的最後一道防線。
然而這道防線，卻隨著每次返台而不斷崩解

寶島對於我的意義，似乎是越來越模糊
家對於我的意義，也只是越來越平淡

什麼都可以偷，什麼都不奇怪

在這裡，搶劫偷竊雖然時有所聞，但畢竟在這裡的時間長了，聽聞的軼事多了
多數人早有防偷防搶的教戰守則，但今天發生在我身上的事還是令我開了眼界。
原來，不只是手機，連手機號碼都是竊賊的目標

究竟要如何偷號碼，這就不得不提到這裡的手機通話費的付費方式，
我想是因為中國移動人口多，多數內地人前往東南沿海謀生，這些人口住址可能隨時變動，
導致電信公司無法以帳單寄送的方式按月收取話費。衍生而出的方法，便是預付卡機制，
唯有預先充值才能正常發話受話。

每位新號碼申請人都會獲得一組電話密碼，作為日後服務變更的依據。不論是掛失，換卡都需要這組電話密碼作為身分辨認的依據。
於是乎，竊賊只要想辦法獲取電話密碼，便能讓你手上的sim卡失效，然後再申請一張新卡，你的電話號碼便正式被盜走啦！

光是這樣不打緊，竊賊還會發簡訊通知通訊部裡面所有人，請你的朋友幫忙買充值卡並把密碼寄給你，一旦你好心的朋友幫忙，竊賊就可以把金額充直到自己的號碼。而你，不但掉了手機號碼，欠朋友人情，還得還朋友為你充值的費用。

雖然被盜卡的財務損失不見得很慘重，但騷擾到朋友還真是苦惱，尤其是電話簿裡還有上司的電話，才真的是讓人哭笑不得阿

邪惡的iTunes Gift Card

這篇並不是要評論iTunes一首歌賣$0.99，或一張專輯賣$9.99道不道德，而是就我個人而言，一旦有了在iTunes買歌的經驗，很容易就陷進漩渦無法自拔......

事情起源於跟同事買的$25 iTunes Gift Card，抱持著試試看的心態買小一點的額度來玩玩，好用的話再一次買多一點金額。豈料啟用帳號的當天幾乎就把金額全數用光，看來iTunes會成為美國市佔率最高的線上音樂販賣平台，確實有道理所在。而對於iPod＋iTunes的營運模式，我個人也多了一些想法。

一直不解，為何歐洲許多政府一直想用公權力使iPod與iTunes脫鉤，使得在iTunes上購買的音樂也能置入其他player播放。就我的經驗看來，在台灣大多數的iTunes使用者，都是因為買了iPod或iPhone而"被迫"使用。其原因不外乎iTunes自動管理音樂的方式，讓許多習慣按照自己的邏輯管理音樂的使用者感到不自在；再者，其使用ID tag歸檔的方式，而容易讓透過其他管道下載而來，而資訊不全的音樂，在匯入iTunes資料庫時造成大混亂。此外iTunes的音質並不是絕佳，如果你是個注重音質，卻又同時想要mp3帶來的方便性的使用者，iTunes絕對不匯市手選的播放程式。種種因素看來，如果不是因為iPod或iPhone的緣故，會選擇iTunes的可能性微乎其微。當然，如果你原本就是個mac使用者就另當別論。根據以上經驗可以做出這樣一個推論，在台灣，不會有人因為使用喜愛使用iTunes而購買iPod。而已此推論來看，利用法律使得iTunes上購買的音樂能在其他player播放，似乎無此必要性，因為大多數iTunes使用者，都是因為iPod而使用。

不過以上都屬於所謂的台灣經驗，以此角度推斷未免狹隘。

也許在美國或歐洲，有為數不少的人使用iTunes是著眼於iTunes Store的方便性。他們希望透過合法的管道取得數位音樂，同時尊重智慧財產權以確保有更多好作品誕生。對他們而言，iPod是因為選擇iTunes後的被迫選擇，唯有選擇iPod，才能使在iTunes Store購買的音樂得以隨身享受。這樣的比例有多少，不知道，但可以確定的，如果iTunes Store持續做大，這比例應該會增加。

俗豔的Synth-pop音色依然是我的最愛，倒是最後附的幾首acoustic version令人感到洗淨鉛華，回歸純樸。整張專輯雖然要價$12.99，但我覺得值得。

腦袋空空

最近常面臨的窘境就是，
打開網誌面對著螢幕，腦袋卻一片空白毫無任何想法，
經過五分鐘的死命掙扎後卻仍然幾不出一個字，
最後所幸關了視窗宣告放棄。

這種可悲的現象在工作之後似乎更加顯著，
一來下班之後最常做的是便是往沙發一靠，
電視開著卻也沒在看，
就這樣被動著接受著資訊，像個水龍頭下的瓶子，
瓶子注滿之後再也無法容納更多水於是，水不斷從瓶口外流出
一刻都未進到瓶子內。

沒看新的書，沒涉略新的音樂，連電影都看不用大腦的溫馨搞笑片
我的大腦似乎隨著下班時間也跟著下班，拒絕再工作。
哀莫大於腦死，我要跳脫這種可怕的循環

That Night, You Were A Rock'n'Roll Star

對於大多數我這個世代的人而言，Oasis是國高中時代的青春印記。多少年輕學子希望像他們一樣，抱著吉他大唱青年之聲，行徑囂張卻依然廣受歡迎；然而對於我而言，oasis卻不是我高中的回憶。高中喜愛Hip-Hop，大學迷戀電子，真正回歸到搖滾本身，反而是研究所的事。

儘管近來專輯不再像從前那麼具有代表性，oasis在多數樂迷心中的地位依然不可磨滅。Oasis的早期作品，就像那木星上的巨大紅色斑點，如此鮮明又引人注目。琅琅上口的歌詞也成為生活上的某中慰藉。Don't Look Back in Anger總是會在朋友失意時成為我的安慰之詞，而熟識此歌的朋友也已I heard you say來回應，巧妙到連我當初都沒想到；面對茫茫然的前途，心中總是會想起stand by me, nobody knows the way it's gonna be~

這次Oasis在香港的演唱會，也許是因為辦在平常日，並沒有預期中的排隊入場盛況，甚至在開演前一小時，整個會場人數不到十分之一，令人十分擔心兩兄弟會不會一時不爽罷唱。開場曲毫無意外的，是Rock'n'Roll Star，我想對於少有機會現場參與Oasis的人，這首無疑是最佳開場曲。Encore的第一首便是Don't Look Back in Anger(Acoustic)，全場頓時陷入大合唱。比較可惜的是，Be Here Now專輯理一首歌都未出現，算是整昌演唱會最大的遺憾。

FREEDOM!

It sounds like the aspire of a man in a military service. I'm out of the service so that's not what I am talking about. What I mean is the freedom of the information, which means getting any info you want without any limitation. It's not a big problem in Taiwan, but in china, it really is.

That's how I feel about this great country: always controlling the info, trying not to let any "negative news" about the country leak to the common. Take two things for example. It was banned here because it broadcast the video clip about a police beating the protesting people of Tibet, and Oasis's concerts on Beijing and Shanghai were cancelled because they backed independence of Tibet. All these things sound ridiculous to me.

Getting news from the source out of the government is mission impossible. CCTV is the only choice. website? Don't waste the hopes on it because there's a great machine and mechanism behind it to filter everything. Everything not in its flavor, bang! They ban it. That's how it works.

Now I understand what I read in 1984. The big brother is everywhere. We all know the country growing faster than any other countries. But I also wish the other parts can catch up, and the freedom of info will be the short cut.
